Poker is a card game in which players place bets on the value of their hand. The winning hand is determined by the highest-ranking combination of cards. The cards are dealt from a standard pack of 52.<\/p>\n

In many games, some or all of the cards are wild, which can take on any suit and rank as desired. Usually these are jokers, but some games specify the wild cards that are allowed and which ones are not.<\/p>\n
